The Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology’s Office of Supplier Diversity, alongside the IT Procurement Office, is launching a new educational initiative aimed at IT vendors. Scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 10 to 11 AM, the event aims to inform current and potential vendors about upcoming opportunities and state procurement processes. This series begins with a complimentary webinar focused on essential state contracting disclosures, designed to help vendors better understand compliance and regulatory expectations. Organizers hope the sessions clarify key requirements and foster improved communication between vendors and state agencies. Registration for the webinar is now open, and all IT suppliers interested in state contracts are encouraged to participate. Further details and schedules for upcoming sessions will be provided by the department in the coming weeks. Visit here to register for the webinar.
“This session is part of our ongoing commitment to empower vendors with the tools and knowledge they need to do business effectively with the State,” said DoIT Chief of Supplier Diversity Alice Rivera-Alfaro. “We’re breaking down complex requirements and replacing confusion with clarity.”
