The Illinois Retired Teachers Association Foundation is offering $42,000 in grant money to support public school educators across the state. These grants aim to provide extra resources for Pre-K through 12th-grade teachers, enabling students to engage in special classroom projects. To participate, educators are encouraged to visit www.irtaonline.org, where they can access and submit the online application found under the “Grants” section. All proposals must be submitted by June 1, 2025. A dedicated committee will review applications and choose the recipients during the summer, with awards presented in the fall to further educational excellence statewide.
