Illinois Sheriffs’ Association Announces 2024-25 Scholarships

MCDONOUGH/FULTON COUNTIES, IL – McDonough County Sheriff Nick Petitgout and Fulton County Sheriff Jon Webb have announced that they will each be awarding one college scholarship in the amount of $500, in partnership with the Illinois Sheriff’s Association (ISA).

The ISA announced earlier this week that they be awarding over $58,000 in college scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic school year. Recipients of these scholarships will be able to use them to pay for tuition, books, and fees during their enrollment.

The students permanent Illinois residents, enrolled full-time at a certified institution of higher learning within the State of Illinois, during the 2024-2025 school year. Online learning is acceptable.

Applications are now available at local Sheriff’s offices or on the ISA Website. Students must complete the application, answer the essay question, and return all documentation to the Sheriff’s office in their permanent county of residence by March 15, 2024 (must be postmarked by this date).
