Illinois State Police investigators are seeking the public’s help in a death investigation after a pedestrian was found dead on I-80 westbound, near milepost 18, near Geneseo, in Henry County. Authorities believe the person was struck by a vehicle between 12:00 and 12:15 AM on October 16th. The identity of the individual has not been confirmed, and the vehicle involved has not been located. Anyone who was driving in the area at that time, witnessed the incident, or has dashcam footage is urged to contact ISP Special Agents at 309-752-4915, extension 4937.
