Illinois Valley Community College will temporarily close its Oglesby and Ottawa Center campuses on Thursday morning, August 14, 2025, for staff professional development. Student support offices will reopen to the public from 1 to 4:30 PM the same day. Meanwhile, the Eagles Launch orientation, an event designed to welcome and guide new students, is scheduled for Friday, August 15, from 1 to 3:30 PM. As the college prepares for the upcoming academic year, classes for the fall semester are scheduled to begin on Monday, August 18. Students are encouraged to prepare accordingly for these key dates.
