The Illinois Valley Community College has announced the filing period for Board of Trustee election nominations starting November 12, 2024. Candidates wishing to participate in the April 1, 2025 election can submit their petitions from 8 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon, Tuesday through Friday, between November 12th and November 15th, and until 5 in the afternoon on Monday, November 18th. The submissions will be accepted in the Oglesby campus’s President’s Office, Room C301. A lottery to determine ballot placement will be on November 20th at 4 PM in the Board Room (C-307) if necessary.
The last day to file an objection to any petition is Monday, November 25th, for the counties of LaSalle, Bureau, Putnam, Marshall, Grundy, Livingston, Lee, and DeKalb.
