Illinois Valley Community College’s campuses in Oglesby and Ottawa will not be open on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. All campus classes and regular operations are suspended for the day, as students, faculty, and staff take time to honor the legacy and contributions of Dr. King. The closures affect both in-person and on-campus activities. Normal schedules will resume at 8 AM on Tuesday, January 20th.
