Illinois Valley Community College will soon begin construction on its new Agricultural Education Center, a major development for both the college and the local farming community. Supported by grants from the federal Economic Development Administration and the Illinois Department of Commerce, this new facility will showcase IVCC’s commitment to agricultural innovation and community partnerships. The groundbreaking event is scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2025, at 1 PM at the IVCC Agriculture Complex in Oglesby. Speakers will include campus leadership, faculty, and the project’s architect. The center aims to serve as a hub for agricultural education and industry collaboration in the Illinois Valley.
