Illinois Valley Community College’s softball team will host its 26th annual youth clinic on February 15 and 16. Open to grades 2 through 8, the event offers instruction in key softball skills. Sessions are split by grade level, with a fee of $40 for both days or $25 for one. There are two sessions each day. On Saturday, participants in grades 2-4 meet from 8 to 10:30 AM, and grades 5-8 meet from 11:30 AM until 2 PM. On Sunday, grades 2-4 meet from 10 AM to 12:30 PM, and grades 5-8 meet from 1:30 to 4 PM.
All players should bring a glove and tennis shoes (no spikes or cleats allowed). Players can bring their own bats. Please make sure all items have the player’s name on them for identification purposes.
