Forty-nine IVCC Nursing students celebrate graduation and pinning ceremony

Forty-nine registered nursing students at Illinois Valley Community College marked a major milestone on May 16th, celebrating completion of the associate’s degree nursing program. During the graduation ceremony, students received their nursing pins and recited the Nursing Pledge in a traditional candle lighting ceremony. Graduates Adam Brown, Taylor Lonask, and Alexandrea Beyer served as featured speakers. Members of the Alpha Delta Nu honor society were also recognized. The Illinois Valley Nurse Honor Guard, including many IVCC nursing alumni, took part in the ceremony, welcoming the graduates into the nursing profession and honoring their commitment to patient care.
