On August 13, 2024, Nickolas Ingle pleaded guilty to the damage he caused when he drove into the Henry County Office of Emergency Management building early in the morning on June 16, 2023. Ingle pleaded guilty to criminal damage to property and violating his probation from a 2021 case. He was sentenced to 30 days in the Henry County Jail, with day-for-day credit and credit for time served, a $75 fine plus assessments, submit a DNA sample and pay the associated fee, seek alcohol evaluation and recommended treatment, and pay restitution of $78,444.36. He will begin paying $25 per month on September 9th.  A pay status is scheduled for January 13, 2025, to review his employment status, because Judge Patton said $25 isn’t much considering how much he owes. Ingle told the court that he doesn’t currently have a job and hopes to find a job when he gets out of jail.

Henry County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to an alarm call on June 16, 2023, at Henry County OEM on Highway 34. Deputies located a truck in the training center of the building. The defendant, Nickolas Ingle, was located in the truck and was taken into custody for driving under the influence and property damage.

Nickolas Ingle was originally charged with Criminal Damage/$10k-100K (Class 3 Felony) for case 2023CF367 and Driving Under the Influence of Drug (Class A Misdemeanor), Tetrahydrocannabinol Within 2 hours of driving (Class A Misdemeanor), Improper Lane Usage (Class P Other) and Failure to Reduce Speed (Class P Other) for case 2023DT47.
