Inspire Young Minds Volunteer to Teach Junior Achievement Lessons at Central School

SHARE NOW

Junior Achievement is seeking volunteers to teach pre-prepared lessons in Mrs. Vickrey’s 4th-grade classroom at Central School. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to engage students for 45 minutes a week over five weeks. Lessons explore the economy, skill development, career exploration, and community involvement. For seventy years, the organization has played a pivotal role in inspiring young minds. Volunteers are especially needed in fifth-grade classes taught by Michael Oshner, Emily Robinson, and Jennifer Vickrey. Volunteers receive all materials and scripted lesson plans, with schedules coordinated alongside the classroom teacher. A 30-minute virtual training is required for new volunteers, with several session dates available. To sign up or get more information, reach out to Monica at [email protected]. This is an opportunity to inspire young learners and make a difference.
