The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced the I-80 overpass on 300 East Street in Bureau County will remain closed until a new plan has been developed. During a structural repair assessment, they discovered that the level of repairs exceeded what was originally planned. This will result in the closure until IDOT re-evaluates the structure and determines how to move forward.
