Jane Morris is retiring after 14 years of dedicated service at the Princeton Public Library. With a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design from Illinois State University, Morris transformed the library’s gardens into a natural haven, favoring native plants and a wilder aesthetic. Her work, especially the surrounding prairie-style landscaping, has been a cherished part of the community experience.

Morris grew up on a farm and assisted her parents with their large vegetable garden, gladiola, and rose gardens. Some of her fondest memories are from patrons who complimented her work and found solace in the plants and flowers she dedicated her time.
