The Jensen Woods Camp is hosting a “Soup in the Woods” fundraiser on Saturday, October 19, 2024, and Sunday, October 20th, at the Dixon Lodge Dining Room and Lawn at the Jensen Woods Camp. Jensen Woods Camp is located at 1498 275 E Street in Timewell, Illinois. On Saturday from 3 to 6 PM, you can enjoy taco, chicken noodle, or potato soups, pulled pork, grilled cheese, hotdogs, veggies, and desserts.
On Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM (food service ends at 1:30 PM), you can enjoy stuffed peppers, chili, oyster soup, veggie soup, grilled cheese, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, veggies, and desserts.
Both days are for a freewill donation. Carry-out is available, and there are gluten-free options.
There will be wagon rides, pumpkin decoration, crafts, archery, lawn games, corn box, live entertainment, plus more. Apple chucking is back; a bounce house will be onsite for a $2 fee.
