State Representative Travis Weaver has unveiled the 2025 Community Clean-Up Project, set to take place from April 22nd through May 16th. The initiative invites area residents to help keep their neighborhoods clean by gathering and disposing of litter. In a move to encourage youth involvement, students who fill a kitchen-size trash bag with collected waste and submit a photo as proof will be awarded a Certificate of Service. The program aims to boost community spirit and raise environmental awareness, offering a simple yet impactful way for people of all ages to contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment.
“The 2025 Community Clean-Up Project is a creative and fun initiative to preserve the beauty and well-being of our communities,” said Rep. Weaver. “Together, our efforts can preserve a lasting impact. By working together, we can protect our environment and ensure a cleaner, healthier future for all.”
Students must have a parent or guardian’s permission to participate. All students who fill a standard kitchen-size trash bag with litter should submit a photo to communitycleanup2025@
