The Illinois Valley Community College Cross Country Team invites runners of all abilities from high school and junior high to participate in a new fall race. The event will take place on November 16, 2024, at the college’s Oglesby campus. Participants can register for a 2-mile junior high race or a 5-kilometer high school race. Registration costs twenty dollars, including a T-shirt, with awards for top finishers.
The race will be on Saturday, Nov. 16, beginning near the IVCC track on the south side of campus near the disc golf course. Race day registration/check-in begins at 9 AM with the junior high race starting at 10 a.m. and the high school race at 10:45 AM.
The cost to run is $20 per runner. All participants will receive a race T-shirt. The top male and female finisher in each race will receive an additional award.
