Outdoor enthusiasts are invited to join this month’s Friends of the Hennepin Canal hike on Sunday, June 22, 2025. The 3.7-mile trek, known as “the Woodchuck,” will cover the stretch from Bridge 41 to Lock 29. Participants are asked to meet at Lock 29 in Colona at 1:30 PM, where a shuttle will transport hikers to the starting point. The event is free and open to all, with no membership required.
