Families with young children are invited to Windmont Park’s enclosed shelter in Kewanee this Friday, May 16, 2025, for a special Parents as Teachers event. From 1:30 to 3:30 PM, little ones ages birth to three can enjoy a free afternoon of interactive fun. Activities will focus on different developmental skills—fine and gross motor, social-emotional, and peer play—including a hands-on flower garden simulation.
