Cambridge is gearing up for a festive celebration on December 7th, filled with community spirit and holiday cheer. The day kicks off with a hearty spaghetti dinner at the United Methodist Church, followed by the much-anticipated Santa Parade, which begins at the local fire station. At College Square Park, attendees can enjoy the official tree lighting and join in singing Christmas carols. The event also offers a variety of food stalls, craft booths, and live performances, all dedicated to supporting community causes. Don’t miss out on the chance to enter the lighting contest by calling the Cambridge Village Office to register and participate in the festive fun!
Community members are encouraged to join the lighted parade in a variety of ways, whether it be on a golf cart, ATV, tractor, horse, riding lawn mower, or even on foot. Participants are asked to gather on Prospect Street near the Baptist Church at 4:15 PM for staging and judging. The parade will move through downtown and conclude on East Street behind the bandshell at College Square Park, starting at about 4:45 PM. Get ready to enjoy the festivities, and don’t miss your chance to win prizes if your entry is among the top three!
Find a Cambridge Middle FFA Member this Saturday at Christmas on the Square to receive a punch card and enter to win a sled.
