Outdoor enthusiasts are invited to join this month’s Friends of the Hennepin Canal hike, set for Sunday, May 18, 2025. This segment, known as the “Woodcock,” covers a scenic 3.5-mile route from Bridge 34 to Bridge 37. Participants should meet at Bridge 37, located near the Geneseo Campground on Route 82 north of Geneseo, at 1:30 PM, where shuttles will transport hikers to the starting point. The event is free and open to all, with no membership required. Organizers remind participants to dress for the weather; any cancellations will be announced on the group’s Facebook page.
