The Cambridge Natural History Museum invites the public to the grand opening of its latest exhibit, “The Lives and Discoveries of Famous Paleontologists,” on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Curator Anderson Taylor will host a riveting presentation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, showcasing the contributions of icons like Robert Tully and Barnum Brown. This event not only unveils their scientific breakthroughs but also explores their significant impact on our understanding of Earth’s ancient landscapes. Funded by an Illinois Humanities microgrant, the exhibit emphasizes the rich tapestry of paleontology. Admission is free, with the museum open for extended hours on event day for additional exploration. Light refreshments will be served, and the museum will be open from noon until 3 PM the day of the presentation.
