Young musicians from various schools joined forces at the IVCC’s Cultural Centre for the 2025 Junior High Band Festival. The event provided a platform for students to collaborate and perform in a large ensemble. They benefitted from valuable rehearsal time and specialized break-out sessions led by school music directors, who offered insights on instrument care and effective breathing techniques. Esteemed conductor Phil Whaley, director of the IVCC Wind Ensemble, guided the performance, ensuring a harmonious and inspiring concert.
