The Kewanee Area United Way (KAUW) started the new year by electing Officers for the Board of Directors and preparing for the first Trivia night in 2024 on January 26th. On January 8, 2024, the new Board of Directors was elected, including Officers of the Board of Directors. Nancy Sutton was elected as President of the Board of Directors; Doug Witmer was elected as Vice President; Robert Hensley was elected as Secretary; and Stephanie Humphrey was elected as Treasurer. Jeanna Eastman-Moore, Ray Jacobs, Eddie Toliver, and Darcy James also serve on the Board of Directors of the KAUW. KAUW Executive Director Linda Blair said, “We are looking forward to the coming year with our new officers. They are an enthusiastic leadership group.” The KAUW meeting schedule will change in 2024. Meetings will be held in January, March, May, and July through December to better serve the KAUW area in Henry and Stark Counties.
