Repairs on the water main break on Kentville Road took longer than expected. The work is almost done, and water should be restored soon, if not already. The customers without water from this water main break are under a boil order until the city receives the water test results. The boil order is only for those who lost water service during this time.
Residents in the northeast area of town may experience low water pressure and/or rusty water. Residents are asked to take precautions when using water until the water runs clean. The water being consumed is under the boil order only. Flush the system by running cold water to avoid drawing rust into the water heater.
