HAMILTON, IL – A Keokuk woman was arrested on Friday for for Possession of Methamphetamine.
According to reports, Hamilton Police Officers arrested Casey J. Claiborne, 40, of Keokuk, IA with 70.7 grams of methamphetamine on her person.
Claiborne has been charged with Possession of 15-100 grams of Methamphetamine, a Class 1 Felony, which could find Claiborne serving 4 to 15 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, if she’s convicted.
Hamilton Chief of Police Mike Boley has stated that the investigation is still ongoing and that further charges and/or arrests are possible.
All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
