Kewanee Area United Way Seeking Volunteers for the Jail & Bail Fundraiser in September

SHARE NOW

The Kewanee Area United Way (KAUW) is gearing up for its annual Jail & Bail Fundraiser, inviting the community to participate in a lighthearted quest to support critical local programs. Community leaders from Kewanee and Galva will be “locked up” in a mock jail, with their “bail” set as donation goals—money that goes straight to helping neighbors in need. Residents can get involved by volunteering as a “jailbird,” nominating participants, sponsoring detainees, or making a general contribution online. The event promises plenty of fun and positive impact, with dates to be announced for September 2025. More information is available at kauw.org. For more information, call the KAUW at 309-761-8447 or email [email protected].
