A group of enthusiastic K-Kids from Central School lit up a local nursing home with Halloween cheer this month. Armed with glitter, markers, and boundless creativity, the young volunteers crafted more than 60 festive cards for residents. Their artistic efforts brought laughter and excitement, as spooky ghosts and friendly pumpkins adorned the handmade greetings. The project aimed to spread happiness and brighten the season for seniors, many of whom may not receive frequent visitors. The nursing home’s staff expressed appreciation for the thoughtful gesture, noting the joy it brought. From crafts to caring, these kids proved that small acts can make a big difference.
