The Kewanee Chamber of Commerce Concert in the Park Series is back for its 29th season, bringing live music to Veterans Park all summer. Kicking off on June 19, 2025, the series will feature performances every Thursday evening through August 21st. Music lovers can look forward to the Jim Markum Swing Band launching the festivities. Admission remains free for all attendees, and various food options will be available on-site. Organizers encourage families and friends to bring their lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a summer full of community spirit, entertainment, and fun under the stars. The Kewanee FFA Food Tent opens at 5 PM on concert nights.
“It’s hard to imagine that this will be our 29th year at the park” said Mark Mikenas Kewanee Chamber of Commerce. “We hope people will come out and enjoy the free concerts, the park has plenty of shade and always seems to have a breeze”
