The Kewanee High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee has revealed its Class of 2026 inductees, celebrating a remarkable group of athletes, supporters, and a storied team from Kewanee High School’s past. Honorees include Coach Tim Atwell; friends of KHS athletics Tim Atwell and Gary Petersen; female athletes Vivian Guy (1976) and Shanique Powe (1988); male athletes Andre Dunn (2009), David Ralph (1968), and Scott Yarde (1972); and the legendary 1993–94 Boys’ Basketball Team. The induction ceremony is set for September 19, 2026, at Petersen Auditorium and is open to the public.
