In a close battle against Newark, Kewanee secured the win after three sets, finishing 25-14, 20-25, and 15-11. The team then faced the host, Putnam County, and maintained strong momentum, closing out the match in straight sets, 25-19 and 25-17. Kewanee’s consistent teamwork and resilience powered them through both matchups, marking a standout showing at the tournament and returning home as invite champions.
