Tonight, the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce is set to dazzle the community with its 18th annual lighted parade at 5 PM, followed by a fireworks show to start the holiday season and park lightings. This festive event marks the beginning of the holiday season with brilliant displays at Windmont and Northeast Parks. Be sure to stop by the Windmont Park shelter house for a photo opportunity with Santa Claus. Additionally, there will be delicious treats on sale, with proceeds going to benefit the park’s lighting. This evening promises to be a memorable start to the festive season in Kewanee. Following the Northeast and Windmont Parks lighting, residents and visitors can enjoy a luminary drive along historic South Chestnut Street and Edgewood Drive.
