The Kewanee Kiwanis Club made a significant impact recently, providing financial support to both Kewanee High School and Wethersfield High School Key Clubs. The funds will allow 27 students to attend the state convention at a reduced cost, opening doors to valuable experiences and opportunities.
The meeting also featured an inspiring presentation by Marc Nelson, a dedicated educator who guides young Kewanee artists in creating stop-motion movies on historical topics. These unique projects showcase the creativity and talent of local students, such as the video below.
The Kiwanis Club continues to foster education and community engagement, making a difference in the lives of young people.
From the Kewanee High School Club Facebook Page, “Thank you, Kewanee Kiwanis! Because of you, we are able to send 27 students to our state convention for a more affordable price.”
