The Attorney for a Kewanee man requested a sentencing hearing be expedited because of concerns for the defendants safety in the Henry County Jail. William Borsch accepted a partially negotiated plea on March 10, 2025, and will testify against Rahsaan Strawder in a bench trial for murder on March 27, 2025.
Rahsaan Strawder is charged with murder for the death of a 14 month old child in Colona on January 27, 2022. According the defense attorney, Mr. Breedlove, Strawder made comments regarding the charges against him to inmates in the Henry County Jail.
