Kewanee Man Gets Conditional Discharge and Fine for Failure to Report Change of Employment

A Kewanee man was charged with a class 3 felony for failing to report a change of employment when he started a new job in September 2023. Gage Peed was charged with failing to report a new job to the Chief of the Kewanee Police Department within three days with the name and address of the business where he was working, according to the sex offender registry act.

Gage Peed was sentenced to 30 months of Conditional Discharge, 180 days in the Henry County Jail (Stayed), day-for-day credit, credit for time served, a $1,000 fine, assessments, and a $500 Public Defender fee.
