Kewanee Police responded to a disturbance at the Shell Gas Station on South Main Street around 11:50 AM. Officers arrived to find two women involved in a physical altercation. While officers intervened in the physical altercation, one person retrieved a firearm and discharged one shot. The suspect was arrested, with no injuries reported. Officers retrieved the firearm and collected additional evidence. The investigation continues.
