Kewanee Police Identify Body Found West of Kewanee as Missing Local Man Catrelle Reed

The Kewanee Police Department has confirmed that the body discovered west of Kewanee on May 30, 2025, belongs to Catrelle Reed, a 39-year-old resident of Kewanee. Reed was first reported missing on May 22nd, prompting an active search by authorities and community members. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and subsequent death. Law enforcement officials urge anyone who may have information relevant to the case to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
