The Kewanee Public Library District is marking a milestone, celebrating its 150th anniversary alongside the Opening Night of the KPLD Art Show on October 8 at 6 PM. Visitors can enjoy refreshments while taking in a vibrant display of local talent. Children in 6th grade and under are encouraged to submit paintings or clay sculptures, with supplies available in the Youth Department throughout September. For artists in 7th grade and older, submissions are welcome from September 30th to October 2nd. The exhibit, featuring all ages, runs through October 15th.
