The Kewanee Public Works Department is working in the area of the water main break on Kentville Road. The work may cause rusty water and/or low water pressure for the customers in the area.
Residents should run cold water to flush the system and avoid drawing rust into the water heater. Residents are asked to take precautions when using water until it runs clear, which will clear up as more people use the water and flush the system. No boil orders have been issued at the time of this writing.
