The Kewanee Rotary Club extends heartfelt gratitude to the community for generously contributing over $1,000 to the United Way Shoes for Kids Campaign. In a remarkable show of solidarity, the Rotary fulfilled its February commitment by presenting a matching check of $1,000 for the initial sum raised. Highlighting this week’s program were Lea and Emelia from the First Christian Church, who shared insightful experiences from their mission trips to a Wyoming Reservation and discussed future endeavors. The club also appreciates community support in their Quarter Madness paddle sales, paving the way for continued charitable efforts.
