The Kewanee Boilermakers lost a tough game to Mercer County on Friday night, falling 68 to 64 after a big second half comeback. Brady Clark led the Boilermakers with a new season high in scoring, 29 points. Blaise Lewis also reached a season high with 22 in the losing effort. That dropped Kewanee into a third place showdown against a tough Riverdale squad. Riverdale entered the game 11 and 3 on the season. With defensive focus on Brady Clark, the Boilermakers needed his teammates to step up and they did. Colson Welgat and Cottrelle Reed each scored in double digits to back up 15 points from Brady Clark to lead Kewanee to victory and a 3rd place finish in the tournament.
