City of Kewanee facilities will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025, in observance of Memorial Day. All LRS trash, recycling, and landscape waste pickups will be delayed by one day throughout the week. Monday routes will be serviced on Tuesday, Tuesday on Wednesday, Wednesday on Thursday, and Thursday pickups will move to Friday. Landscape waste will be collected on Tuesday. Residents are reminded to adjust their schedules accordingly. Additionally, the Kewanee City Council meeting is rescheduled and will take place on Tuesday, May 27th, at 7 PM.
