Kewanee’s Public Works Water Division will start a water main replacement project in the 200 block of S Elm St, between E Central Blvd and Lyle St. Construction is set to begin at 6 am on September 8th, 2025, and S Elm St will be closed for the duration of the work. Drivers are urged to exercise caution on E Central Blvd and Lyle St, especially during school drop-off and pick-up times.
