Kewanee Wins Against Sherrard and Alex Duarte Now the All-time Touchdown Leader at KHS

Friday night, the Kewanee High School football team celebrated a landmark victory over Sherrard with standout performances, particularly from Alex Duarte, who became the all-time touchdown leader at the school. Amidst the cheers, Duarte attributed his success to the “Dirty Grinders,” the linemen and receivers who paved the way for his record-setting achievement. The game also featured remarkable plays, including interceptions by Abe Hicks and Greyden Lewis and three touchdown passes by Colson Welgat. With the upcoming Senior Night this Friday, the community is buzzing with excitement to support the Boilermakers as they continue their impressive season. The Kewanee Boilermakers play at home this Friday for senior night.
