Congratulations to the Kewanee High School Group Interpretation Competitive Theater Team for winning Sectionals with their performance of Barbie. The KHS GI Team defeated Glenwood, Joliet West, Lockport, Olympia, Downers Grove South, Andrew, and Granite City at the Belleville West Sectional. They will perform at the Illinois State competition next weekend, March 22nd and 23rd, at Challand Junior High School. This is the 18th year in a row Kewanee High School Theater Teams have qualified for State under the direction of Heather Olalde. Additionally, eight cast members were named All-Sectional Cast: Laryn Conley, Bethany VanWasswnhove, Cooper Bates, Isaac Lynes, Tessa Mitchell, Victoria Dennison, Claire Olalde, and Marcus Torres.
