The children who attended the Science FUNdamentals camp at Illinois Valley Community College got to have fun and learn about chemistry and science during the two-hour camp. The students hypothesized whether objects could float or sink in water while they explored density, and then they created their own bouncy balls by mixing various properties. The camp is sponsored by Carus Chemical and was led by chemists Rachel and Akila.
