Internationally acclaimed Swedish vocal ensemble Kongero will perform a rare Midwest concert on Saturday, December 6th, at Bishop Hill Creative Commons in Bishop Hill. Known for their masterful blend of traditional Swedish folk music and contemporary a cappella, or “Folk’appella,” Kongero has toured the globe and released six albums. The evening starts with a community potluck at 6 PM, followed by the concert at 7 PM. Admission is open to all ages with a suggested donation of $20–30.
