The city of La Salle welcomes the Hygienic Institute Building, the new home for North Central Behavioral Health’s Urgent Care Clinic. Aimed at providing an alternative to emergency room visits, the clinic offers walk-in services, including individual and group therapy, case management, and psychiatric support. Open weekdays from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, the clinic is designed to offer immediate assistance to those in distress.

On November 19th, Curt Bedei, Economic Development Director of the city of La Salle, provided the ribbon and the scissors, and Jodi Mahoney, CEO, did the honors for the official ceremony to open the Hygienic Institute Building for North Central Behavioral Health. Present were Bill Zens, Executive Director, and Penny Wamhoff of the Illinois Valley Chamber of Commerce; Jay McCrakin, Executive Director of the City of Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce; representatives from the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce; and Connie Brooks and Jenny Barrie from this La Salle County Health Department. Additionally in attendance were NCBHS board members Barb Lindquist, Sue Jobst, Steve Maliski, and Mary Jo Barry, and NCBHS staff.
