This week, Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) will deliver recycling carts to Kewanee residents, a pivotal step before launching curbside sanitation services next week. Each cart contains information about collection schedules and acceptable recyclables. Residents are reminded to place items loosely in the carts to facilitate proper recycling. The first recycling collection from LRS is on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Recycling collection will be on Fridays unless there is a holiday.
