On 1/25/2024 at 8:28 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of RT 18 & E 20thRD. (Otter Creek TWP) A 16 year old male was driving east on RT 18 when his vehicle went through standing water on the roadway causing his vehicle to loose control. His vehicle entered the north ditch causing damage to the front right corner.
On 1/26/2024 at 2:00 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of I-80 & MM 81. (Utica TWP) Rodolfo Velasquez-Rodriguez (48) of West Palm Beach, FL was arrested for DWLS. He was transported to LASCO jail and later released with a NTA.
On 1/26/2024 at 3:29 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 18 & E 12th RD. (Bruce TWP) Enisha Holloway (33) of Marseilles was cited for speeding 80 mph in a 55 mph zone and operating uninsured motor vehicle. She was released with a NTA.
